Private School and Preschool Corby

St Peter’s School is an independent day school and preschool just 15 minutes from Corby. The school welcomes boys and girls from the school term when they turn 3 years old, up until they reach the age of 11.

Our school is a warm and welcoming place for boys and girls, fostering a strong sense of community with a focus on an inclusive and high-quality education. The school boasts small class sizes in a picturesque, historic setting. Our values-led approach places an emphasis on the whole child, with a well-rounded curriculum that includes the arts, music, and sports.

Preschool

We provide a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment at Sunnylands preschool where children are encouraged to learn and play, surrounded by a stimulating and supportive environment. Our structured daily curriculum, which emphasises learning through play, allows children to express themselves creatively and freely, through activities such as painting, construction, role play, and singing.

At Sunnylands preschool your child will be given the best start on a life-long love of learning. Please reach out to us to arrange an informal meeting with our preschool Manager and visit us to experience the happy and productive atmosphere first-hand.

Lower School (Reception and Year 1)

Our Lower School consists of Reception and Years 1 and 2 (Key Stage One) and is housed in a purpose-built teaching block equipped with spacious classrooms and comprehensive facilities. Pupils will experience a diverse curriculum encompassing the seven areas of Learning and Development in the Early Years Foundation Stage and an enhanced National Curriculum Programme of Study for Years 1 and 2.

Our teachers are given the freedom to inspire curiosity in all learners and go above and beyond the curriculum. Our goal is to instil a love for learning in children from a young age.

Upper School (Years 3 to 6)

In our Upper School for pupils in Key Stage Two (from Years 3 to 6), we have high expectations for our students and provide an adaptive curriculum that allows them to explore their interests, make decisions, and achieve success. Each pupil will feel valued and receive individual support; leaving St Peter’s with fond memories, well-prepared for the next step in their academic journey.

We would be delighted to show you and your family around to see the school. Please telephone 01536 512066 to make an appointment.
