Wild Adventures! Day 3 at Govilon and our Year 5 & 6 children are fully embracing outdoor life! From canoeing and bushcraft to exploration, teamwork and leadership challenges, the children have shown resilience, confidence and brilliant team spirit throughout the week. Tired? Absolutely. Discovering Nature Around Us Year 1 have been exploring the school grounds as part of their learning about plants and growing. The children investigated different flowers, leaves and trees around the site, learning how plants grow and why they are so important to the world around us. Outdoor Learning in Action Reception have been busy in Forest School this week, learning how to safely use tools as part of their outdoor learning adventures. From teamwork and resilience to confidence and independence, there is something incredibly special about learning outdoors. Science Comes Alive at ThinkTank! Year 3 had an amazing day exploring the incredible ThinkTank Museum in Birmingham. From giant steam engines to hands-on experiments and interactive exhibits, the children brought their Science learning to life through discovery, curiosity and exploration. There were future engineers, inventors and scientists everywhere we looked! #ThinkTankMuseum #ScienceTrip #LearningBeyondTheClassroom
