Blast off the the Science Olympics . Four of our Amazing year 5 students headed to the Annual Science Olympics at Pitsford School. This year's event featured a series of thrilling space missions inspired by NASA's Artemis program. Our young astronauts put their STEM skills to the test, first designing and launching aerodynamic bottle rockets powered by a very special jet fuelsparkling water! Then using their Maths and navigation skills they calculated bearings to navigate through space, and used acids in the lab to test "moon rocks" for sulphates and carbonates. Throughout the day, their teamwork, problem-solving, and behavior were exemplary, earning high praise from the Pitsford staff for being so polite and well-mannered! #pitsfordschool
