FOSP Quiz & Pizza Night What a fantastic evening at the FOSP Quiz and Pizza Night! Over 75 quizzers took part across ten teams, enjoying an evening filled with laughter, friendly competition and plenty of pizza. A huge thank you to the Friends of St Peter's for organising such a brilliant community event. Congratulations to PAINT SEATERS (took me a while!), who took home the quiz trophy for Brigstock! Reception Science Outdoors Science took place outside the classroom this week for Reception. Armed with their Chromebooks, the children explored the school grounds, observing, recording and investigating the world or Spring plants around them. Year 5 Class Assembly Year 5 delivered a brilliantly creative and hilarious class assembly this week! In the space of twenty minutes we travelled through history and imagination; from Ancient Greece, to Richard III, to the Victorian era, and even a stop at airport baggage reclaim! The children performed with confidence, humour and impressive knowledge, showcasing just how much they have learned this term. Assemblies like this are always a joy; a chance for pupils to shine and share their learning with the whole school community. Preschool Holi Celebration Our Preschool children celebrated Holi, the beautiful festival of colour, joy and new beginnings. There was laughter, excitement and an incredible explosion of colour as the children explored the traditions of this special celebration. The playground quickly became a rainbow of bright powders and smiling faces! World Book Day Magic! St Peter's was transformed into a world of stories as we celebrated World Book Day! From classic characters to modern favourites, our pupils arrived in a wonderful array of costumes, bringing their favourite books to life. The creativity was incredible and the school was buzzing with excitement about reading. One of the joys of the day is discovering new books through the children's enthusiasm. We've certainly added a few titles to our own reading lists! A beautiful end to the week as the St P Choristers joined choristers from @copthillschool @brookeprioryschool and @uppinghamlowerschool for Evensong. They filled the beautiful chapel with wonderful music.
