All children have the opportunity to receive individual musical tuition in a variety of disciplines, and the wide range of school ensembles gives everyone the chance to play or sing with others. St Peter's is committed to providing high quality tuition during peripatetic Music lessons. All of our team of dedicated teachers have professional training and performing experience and seek to inspire the next generation through individual lessons in piano, violin, cello, vocal studies, clarinet and flute. We use the services of NMPAT (Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts) and also freelance specialist teachers to deliver individual lessons. These lessons incur an additional cost which is added to your termly fee invoice.

Over 40% of our pupils learn a musical instrument. ABRSM music exams are held each term, for which there is a very high success rate, with many of our pupils achieving merits and distinctions. We recognise that examinations aren't the only appropriate target for all young musicians, and so provide performance opportunities as an alternative goal.
