A Civilised Trip

Year Six Pupils from St Peter's School Embark on a Historical Journey at Rushton Hall

The Year 6 pupils from St Peter's School recently enjoyed a fascinating guided tour of Rushton Hall, a location with a rich history closely linked to the school and the setting for 'Great Expectations.'

The guided tour, led by a former pupil and local expert, took the students into the hall's depths, revealing secrets of its cellars and its links to the infamous Gunpowder Plot.

Mrs Butler said, "Visits like this bring history alive for our students, making learning a truly immersive and engaging experience."

St Peter's School continues to incorporate local history and hands-on experiences into its comprehensive educational approach.
