Our fearless Year 5 & 6 adventurers went deep beneath the earth, exploring ancient caves and navigating the twists and turns of the prehistoric world! In complete darkness, with only head torches to guide them, they crawled, climbed and squeezed through underground passages; conquering fears and showing incredible bravery. Year 2 took their learning out of the classroom today with a delicious trip to Pizza Express at Rushden Lakes! As part of their English topic on writing clear instructions, the children had the chance to follow (and later write) step-by-step guides on how to make their very own pizzas; from dough to toppings to oven! Year 3 took their maths learning outside today for a hands-on lesson all about capacity! Using the EYFS outdoor area and water trays, they measured, poured, estimated and compared; all while enjoying the sunshine and a splash of fun! A huge well done to our Reception Class who led their very first Class Assembly this week; and what a fantastic job they did!
