Outdoor Learning Morning All of our children took their learning outdoors this week; from leaf painting to orchard maths, forest writing to mud kitchen science. A perfect reminder that learning doesn't only happen inside four walls! #OutdoorLearning #Curiosity #IndependentSchools #ForestSchool
Outdoor Learning – Together in Houses This week's Outdoor Learning was about more than just fresh air; it was about teamwork, collaboration, and community. Children from across year groups worked together in their Houses, supporting and learning from one another. This is what St Peter's is all about! #HouseSystem #Community #OutdoorLearning #Confidence #Curiosity
Year 6 Textile Printing Focus, patience, and a steady hand... Our Year 6 pupils have been busy carving and printing as part of their William Morris-inspired DT textiles project. From intricate designs to bold prints, the results are already looking fantastic; we can't wait to see the finished work! #Creativity #Curiosity #WilliamMorris #TextileDesign #IndependentSchools
Staying Safe with our PCSO Team This week we welcomed our local PCSOs into assembly to talk about staying safe, especially as we head into the darker winter months. The children were fantastic; they gave thoughtful answers, shared their ideas confidently, and could all talk about the importance of trusted adults. A big thank you to our PCSOs for their continued support. #Community #Confidence #TrustedAdults #IndependentSchools
First Fixtures of the Season What a brilliant start to the season! Our U9 boys rugby and U9 girls hockey teams played their first fixtures this week; for some, it was their very first time representing the school. At St Peter's, we aim to give every Upper School child a fixture each term, with a balance of participation and performance opportunities. Today it's the turn of our Year 3 pupils, who are out at their first Cross Country event this afternoon; good luck to them all! #Confidence #Community #Curiosity #Creativity #SchoolSport #IndependentSchools
Throwback Thursday – School Archives Throwback time! We've unearthed a brand new treasure trove of old school photographs from the archives. Dive in, take a look, and see who you recognise – don't forget to like, tag and share! #ThrowbackThursday #StPsArchives #Community #History #IndependentSchools
Year 6 Ukulele Vibes Our Year 6 pupils have taken up the ukulele this term; and their new class photos look more like an album cover than a music lesson! Who knows, maybe the next big band will be born right here at St Peter's? #MusicEducation #Creativity #Ukulele #IndependentSchools #Confidence
Picture Perfect – School Photo Day Our annual School Photo Day was in full swing yesterday, complete with an apprentice photographer learning on the job (don't worry parents, we did have a professional photographer)! The children looked fantastic; smartest hair, shiniest shoes, brightest smiles, and proudest uniforms. We can't wait to share the results with you! #SchoolPhotos #Confidence #Community #IndependentSchools
