Ages 2½ to 5 years

The Foundation Stage comprises of Nursery and Reception classes.  Children benefit from a stimulating and safe environment in which they can learn from a variety of experiences. There are plenty of opportunities for first hand learning and cognitive growth in a happy, lively family atmosphere in which teachers cater for individual needs and differing stages of development.

Fun LearningThe wearing of school uniform is not compulsory in the Nursery, but sweatshirts and polo shirts displaying the school logo are available from school.  Full school uniform is introduced in reception class.

The Nursery is generously staffed with appropriately qualified teachers, and benefits from two large, well supplied rooms, with a wide variety of educational equipment, including computers.

The children are encouraged to explore all areas of pre-school experience: books, toys, games, art and craft, music, practical skills, PE and cookery.

Children may attend the Nursery either full-time or part-time. Where part-time is required, we can offer a combination of days or part days, with or without lunch.
